LONDON.' and engraved '1' and '2' towards the breech end, No.1 gun with 3in. chambers, No.2 with 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke (both), sidelever actions, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed bright finish, 13 3/4in. crossover stocks (right shoulder, left eye, slight setting cracks to rear of lockplates), weight 6lb. 5oz. (No.1), 6lb. 4oz. (No.2), fore-ends with grip-release, in a brass-cornered double guncase
